Dr. Sghaier Guizani is currently an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering department at Alfaisal University, Riyadh. He teaches signals and systems, feedback and control system design and all circuits' courses. Worked as an Assistant Professor at Qatar University in Doha & at UAE University in Al-Ain, UAE. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Guizani has more than 10 years of industrial experience with Alcatel data networks & Nortel networks. Dr. Guizani obtained his B.S Eng., M.S. and PhD degrees, all in Electrical Engineering from SUNY at Binghamton, NY, in 1990, North Carolina State University in 1992 and University of Quebec, Trois Rivieres, Canada in 2007 respectively. Dr. Guizani research interests span on a wide range and mainly fall in the general field of communication networks and security (particularly wireless ad-hoc, sensor networks, quality of service (QoS), Wireless Sensor Networks security and RFID/NFC application and security) and internet of things (IoT). Dr. Guizani is serving as an editor in couple of journals as (International Journal of Sensor Networks, Security and Communication Networks) and a TPC member in couple of IEEE conferences.
Dr. Ahmed Oteafy is an Assistant Professor of electrical engineering at the College of Engineering, Alfaisal University. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Boise State University (2011). His B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees are both in Electrical Engineering from Kuwait University earned in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He is an active member of the IEEE and its Control Systems Society CSS since 2004. Dr. Oteafy's research and teaching interests are in control theory and applications, electric machines, power systems, and renewable energy systems. He is the founder and coordinator of Alfaisal Renewable Energy Group AREG. This is a multidisciplinary group that works in three dimensions of research, teaching, and spreading the know-how towards developing the field of renewable energy systems. In research, his publications to date include studying the Lyapunov stability of the Induction motor, developing parameter identification techniques for large generators, and developing nonlinear control techniques, namely, chaos control and sliding mode control. In teaching, he designs and teaches electrical engineering courses, especially, in the fields of renewable energy, power systems, control systems, and electronics. In addition, he supervises undergraduate student projects including a Capstone Design course in the field of Renewable Energy Systems.

Dr Abd-Elhamid M. Taha
Dr. Abd-Elhamid M. Taha is currently an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering at Alfaisal University. His B.Sc. (Honours) and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering were earned at Kuwait University in 1999 and 2002, and his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering was earned Queen's University, Canada in 2007. Dr. Taha's general research interest is in the area of computer networks and communications. His particular focus, however, has been on radio resource management in wireless networks, which is concerned with the allocation of the wireless resource at both the instantaneous and short term levels. Recent themes in this direction include the design of resource schedulers with reduced complexity, and enabling machine-to-machine communications. Other currently active areas of interest include simplified localization, i.e., location computation, in massive wireless sensing networks, mobile security in the Internet of Things (IoT), and modeling in networked cyber-physical systems. This latter aspect refers to facilitating the analysis of networks with both computing and physical components, such as vehicles, robots, and unmanned flight. He has written and lectured extensively on broadband wireless networks, focusing on radio resource management techniques. He is also the co-author of the book 'LTE, LTE-Advanced and WiMAX: Toward IMT-Advanced Networks' by Wiley & Sons and a presenter for several tutorials at ﬂagship IEEE communication Society events. His service record includes organizing and service on the editorial and technical program committees of many esteemed publication events and venues, as well constantly advising and reviewing activities for funding agencies, technical book publishers and research journals and conferences. Dr. Taha's currently a Senior Member of the IEEE and the IEEE Communications Society and the Association for Computing Machinery.
