Why ABET
ABET is the highest accrediting body in Applied science, Engineering, Computing and Technology. ABET accreditation assures that programs meet standards to produce graduates ready to enter critical technical fields that are leading the way in innovation and emerging technologies and anticipating the welfare and safety needs of the public. Four accreditation commissions lead, and conduct ABET accreditation activities.

The Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) is responsible for reviewing educational programs in engineering and making the final accreditation decision for each program.
