Architectural Design Studio is a place where students practice and develop their designs by drafting and working on their drawings. Studios serve as classrooms for Studio Based Courses where group meetings, discussions and design critics and juries take place.

Eng. Mohammed Akilah an Instructor in the Architectural Engineering Department holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Architecture from Taylor’s University and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Civil Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University (an ABET Accredited University since 2009). His approach of combining Architecture and Civil Engineering makes him unique and a valuable source of consultation for both architects and capstone students. He offers a good blend of technical aptitude and creative ability.
