Civil Engineering Teaching Lab
Experiments related to building materials and concrete are conducted. The major focus is on the undergraduate level training. Physical and mechanical tests on aggregates are carried out. Fresh and hardened concrete tests on concrete samples in various sizes are conducted (cubes, cylinders and small beam elements).

He is currently a full Professor at the Architectural Engineering Department, the College of Engineering, Alfaisal University. He has taught at different international universities. He has authored more than 100 journal publications and refereed conference publications. His primary research goals are directed to investigate the usability of solid wastes in the construction of concrete structures in addition of inorganic-based sustainable materials such as green concrete, geopolymeric binders, nano materials that address a unique spectrum of challenges and issues facing sustainable structural materials.
