Engineering Manufacturing Workshop
The Engineering workshop is fully functional to develop the students ready to start work the minute they graduate because of the time they spend in gaining the skill through hands-on Practical’s.
Initially students undergo the orientation and safety procedures then become familiar with the safe workshop processes and they undertake workshop training in use of hand tools, drilling, milling, turning, and welding, quality control & Inspection, 3D Printing, CNC machines operation and how to read and understand the Engineering drawings etc. the next is, allowed to work independently and also in teams with the supervision and guidance of the Instructor to achive the targeted part / assembly.

About 20+ years of experience in industry, facility management,and academics, He conducts the labs for the courses namely, Manufacturing and Workshop training lab, advanced manufacturing Processes lab, (in past Automotive Engineering lab). Assisting the capstone projects etc., along with the responsibility of maintaining the teaching and research equipment and machines, serving as a committee coordinator for the Laboratories & Facilities Committee in Mechanical Engineering Department and member in the College level committee and a member from CoE for University laboratory safety committee, He was completed his Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering during 1995 and started his career with the Plastic injection moulding and die casting machines manufacturing unit, currently holds the Masters degree.
