Digital Fabrication Lab
The Digital Fabrication Lab helps students to translate their ideas and computer-aided designs into physical models for the purpose of experemintation or presentation. This fabrication process uses machines controlled by computers. Currently the lab contains only a CO2 type lazer cutting and engraving machine with plans for future expantions to include other machines like 3D Printers.

Eng. Mohammed Akilah an Instructor in the Architectural Engineering Department holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Architecture from Taylor’s University and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Civil Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University (an ABET Accredited University since 2009). His approach of combining Architecture and Civil Engineering makes him unique and a valuable source of consultation for both architects and capstone students. He offers a good blend of technical aptitude and creative ability.
