Automation and Control Lab
The lab was established to serve the purpose of conducting experimentation, projects, and research in the areas of Instrumentation Systems, Control Systems,
Automation & Mechatronics Systems. The experiments include Temperature & Humidity Measurement, Flowrate Measurement, Calibration, Instruments Sensitivity Measurement, Digital Control, ON-OFF Control, and PID Control.

Aliaa Maar is an Instructor of Mechanical Engineering at Alfaisal University, instructing labs in Material Science, Mechanics of Material Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering and Thermal Fluids Engineering. Her research interest is in the area of Electro-mechanical systems and Additive Manufacturing in biomedical applications. She received a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Khartoum University, Sudan, and a Master's Degree of Technology: Automation and Manufacturing Systems from Kent State University, USA. She participated in major funded projects related to Solid Oxide Fuel Cells and Additive Manufacturing. She worked as Mechanical Design Engineer in Agricultural Equipment design and Ground Support Equipment design. Her broad interest is to advocate for Women in Engineering and raise women's awareness of their roles in the future of technology.
